Hi! My name is Craig and I'm a freelance animator and designer from Southampton, UK.

I specialize in 2D animation and 2D digital design with good experience in Photoshop and proficient drawing skills giving me the ability to create original, compelling designs and bring ideas to life.

My most recent role was 'The Sims Asset Creator' at the EA Games UK branch in Guildford. During my time there I was responsible for creating culturally relevant assets across all Maxis label franchises and titles utilized for both marketing and PR campaigns in the UKUKI and Nordic regions. Working closely with the Maxis Intl label and Maxis PM, I was able to deliver high quality screenshots, video assets and promotional material to promote The Sims 3 further in the UKI market and tie into global release dates for EP’s and SP’s. Video’s I’ve created have contributed over 260k views on EA UK’s YouTube channel to date, alongside appearing in some of the UK’s biggest online media outlets.

Prior to this I was a freelancer which I took up after I graduated from University in 2008. I was fortunate to get experience in a wide range of different disciplines ranging from traditional 2D animation to concept art.

Furthermore, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in animation having studied at Southampton Solent University and additional skills include 2D character animation, 2D digital animation, character design, illustration and video editing.?

Outside of my work I love to draw and carry a sketchbook with me whenever I can (you never want to miss out on a good drawing opportunity). I love travelling but don't think I've done nearly enough yet - once that travel bug gets you it's pretty hard to shake off. Oh, and I also have an unconditional love for Southampton FC! (All football banter is welcome.)
